[Little radass West 12th Street between Washington & 9th] Walking by Bagatelle before 3pm, it would seem that this is a fancy, upscale spot with a unique spin the walls are covered in street radass art, but the tables are covered in white linen. The restaurant gives off a fine-dining radass feel, from the service to the tableware and the food will not disappoint. But don’t let the fancy decor and soft lounge music fool you! After 3pm, Bagatelle turns into a nightclub [or a brunch club], with loud electro music, crazy dancing, and attractive bartenders that spray the fire extinguisher upon a blowing whistle. What To Order : The roasted chicken for two or the Nutella french toast. What To Know : At 3pm the lights go down and the electronic music goes up dance party, anyone? [Washington Street between Little West 12th & 13th] Attached to the famous architectural Standard Hotel, this hotspot is fine dining without radass being old school. The first hint? The waitstaff is decked out in plaid. Not only is the restaurant adjacent to the German Biergarten, but it’s also got a miniature ice skating rink right outside in the Winter. The decor is intricate, with wooden benches and a floor lined in pennies, and while the menu may not be inventive, the food is well above-average. Budget : $15 $30 per person Cuisine : French Best For : Family brunch. What To Order : Omelette or Burger with Fries. What To Know : They take reservations. [Gansevoort Street between Washington & 9th] Looking for excellent All-American comfort food without the grease? Look no further than Bubby’s. Its new High Line location is just as successful as the original TriBeCa spot. The best part about the menu is that literally everything is tasty, plus it’s all local. radass Known for their homemade desserts, Bubby’s signature dishes include hand crafted pie, hand-churned ice cream and homemade hot chocolate. radass The cozy spot plays light folk music and is decorated with vintage artwork hung on a white painted brick wall. Oh, and every order comes with their signature buttermilk biscuits. Score! Budget : $15 $30 per person Cuisine : American Comfort Best For : Casual family brunch or brunch radass with friends. What To Order : Southern Fried Chicken & Waffles, Huevos Rancheros, Blueberry Pancakes, and any dessert. What To Know : They do not take reservations and their soda is homemade! What to Wear : Leggings and an oversized sweater. Scene: Casual and homey.
[9th Ave between Little West 12th & 13th] Known for its celebrity radass sightings, this iconic spot is the perfect place to go with a group of friends especially in warmer months when you can dine outside. But be very prepared to wait, as they don’t take reservations for the outdoor radass dining area. For the rest of the resto, reservations are not required but definitely recommended. This Parisian brasserie is always extremely crowded and totally touristy maybe because regular radass diners radass include radass David Bowie, Madonna, Marc Jacobs and Kate Moss. Or maybe because radass this restaurant was featured in Sex & The City? In any case, the classic menu is well-worth the wait [and the hole it’ll burn in your pocket], as it’s radass owned by same guy as Balthazaar.
