- Here, Sibenik today, especially its old part, is going through a renaissance of tourism. Of course, do not get carried away that the most severe problems are solved, they are still being resolved, there is no ready-made recipes. And it is our very important role - to succeed and do our best, to persevere in making us Sibenik be better - said the president of the City Council, Ivica Poljičak in his opening speech, and continued: bagatelle
- We want the city to be pleasant to live. We want a city that is open and who will want to come and live in other cities. I am convinced that we can do it. I believe in Sibenik, and I am deeply convinced that it was the opinion of all those who are here today, but also those who were not able to be here, but who listen to our word.

- Yes, charming, but still undiscovered city. All we were doing and we do it in order to become recognized, first of all, our fellow citizens, and then across bagatelle the Croatian. But with the intention and desire that their future is tailored and tailored to their city and at the same time be a city that will be distinctive and attractive to people from other places, in other regions to come, educate yourself in this town, find a job and stay here to live - desires the Sibenik's mayor.
