As you have followed by Facebook and this blog, my friends and I recently took the initiative gift baskets to hold a charity raffle to help families who have suffered losses from the flooding gift baskets that hit the city of New Delhi in December gift baskets 2013. The idea was to convert values collected gift baskets in baskets, which would be distributed to families who were in places available as temporary shelters.
After several setbacks, which included the removal of two cycles due to lack of storage and the anticipated draw a card with less than half of tickets sold, managed to raise R $ 898.00 (eight hundred and ninety-eight reais)! gift baskets
The delay for the sale of tickets and consequently for the collection of money, beyond the daily run itself, just delaying the ability to deliver the food baskets to families while they were sheltered. We tried to contact the establishments that served as temporary shelters, hoping to locate families, but it has not been possible.
Today we did the shopping, whose bills I'm paying now, but not without leaving my sincere THANKS A LOT! To all of you who believed they could make a difference in the lives of a few people, my greatest thanks!
